Texas Trailblazer Award
The TACVB Texas Trailblazer Award is presented to an individual that has made a significant contribution to eh Texas Tourism industry in a short amount of time and exhibits innovation, strategic thinking, service, involvement, commitment, and leadership.
This recipient has demonstrated outstanding or “breakout” achievements and contributions in a relatively short period of time. Through their strong commitment to the industry, TACVB relies on this person to help shape the future of the organization.
Eligibility
Must be a TACVB member in good standing.
Requirements
INNOVATION – The awardee brings their most imaginative ideas to the projects and programs they are involved in. This person solves problems, creates new opportunities, and makes a lasting impact.
SERVICE – The awardee exemplifies a true professional, and has demonstrated outstanding or exemplary service to their organization, TACVB, and the tourism industry. Their service is measured by their commitment, time, talents, actions, dedication, and dependability.
INVOLVEMENT – The awardee contributes to TACVB’s mission and goals by participating in task forces, committees, Board of Directors, or in other volunteer roles.
COMMITMENT – The awardee demonstrates a pattern of reliability and responsibility in their organization, and has made meaningful contributions to TACVB and the tourism industry.
LEADERSHIP – The awardee is a leader among their peers. They lead by example and consistently lend their time and talents where needed. This person demonstrates outstanding promise for continuing service and leadership.
