Colleen Rickenbacher

Colleen Rickenbacher is an author, speaker, trainer and consultant handling all areas of etiquette, protocol, civility and communication skills.   

Her four books and training cover practical business and dining skills, the proper etiquette and protocol to navigate globally in any international climate and effective activities for making great impressions, boosting problem-solving skills, and improving customer service. Her book on people skills has just gone international.

Colleen is the co-founder of Global Protocol, Etiquette & Civility Academy which provides individuals and companies the opportunity for further training and certification.

Colleen has achieved numerous certifications and awards, but her highest achievement was just this past October 2016 induction into the prestigious Events Industry Council Hall of Leaders. This award is considered the highest honor in all of the hospitality industry. Since 1985 there have only been 119 people recognized awards presented to a member of over 103,500 individuals and 19,500 firms and properties involved in the meetings, conventions, and exhibitions industry. Most recently she was awarded the 2017 Meeting Professional Rise Award for the top Meeting Industry Leadership award. She is also one of the Top 25 Most Influential People in the Meeting Industry by Meeting News Magazine, inducted into the Hall of Fame and awarded the Lifetime Achievement designation by Texas Meetings & Events magazine and the induction into the MPI Dallas/Fort Chapter Hall of Honor.

Colleen can also be seen and heard regularly on national radio and television. She will soon be joining the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders on CMT’s longest running reality show “Making the Team.”
