Travel and Tourism partners,

I hope you and your team are healthy, happy, and starting to see a bit of light at the end of the Covid tunnel. While most of you are probably not yet actively welcoming visitors in to your visitor centers or offices, I know you are looking forward to the day when you can do so and are likely taking this opportunity to freshen things up. As such, if you need copies of the current Texas State Park Guide, we would be happy to fulfill, for free, your request. Guides are shipped in boxes of 100. The state park guide is digest sized, 88 pages, full color, with details each of the state parks across the state. State Parks are, collectively, the number one travel destination in Texas, welcoming more than 9 million visitors through our gates each year. The state park guide is well received in visitor centers, new resident welcome kits, or in those bulk request you get from some of your local partners.

The guide is updated on an annual basis, below is a picture of the current guide, if yours don’t look like this they are out of date. To request more simply send an email to myself (Thomas.wilhelm@tpwd.texas.gov) or to Erin Freiboth (Erin.Freiboth@tpwd.texas.gov). Include your shipping address and the quantity of guides needed and we’ll get them to you ASAP.

You can learn more about the guide, and view a pdf version of it here:

Please let us know if you have any questions. Looking forward to seeing you all in the future.
