TACVB’s New and Improved TxMET Platform Is Back and Better Than BeforE

April 2nd was a momentous day in TACVB history. After a long wait, TACVB launched the new and improved Texas Meetings and Events Tracking (TxMET) platform along with our partners from Tempest. The new TxMET platform is user-friendly and highly intuitive, and and can be a huge help when prospecting for meetings.

Texas Meetings and Events Tracking (TxMET) is TACVB’s robust database of current and historical bookings for qualified meetings that is shared and updated by TACVB member subscribers.  TxMET subscribers gain access through a web portal to share meeting records of organizations, meeting contacts, and meeting profiles.  This web-based tool is designed to help TACVB members more effectively prospect for, book, and service Texas meetings.

Why it is important for my DMO to subscribe to TxMET?

If your city needs to know the most current and accurate information on meetings being held in Texas, TxMET is a collaborative database of meetings and meeting planners.  It is an essential tool for those in your organization that work with bringing meetings to your city and need to know where to find potential clients. Through this tool, the user has historical information on meetings from all over the state.

What are the benefits of a TxMET subscription?

  • TxMET is the most cost-effective way to obtain information on meetings held across the state.
  • TxMET contains up-to-date historical records of potential meetings and meeting planners.
  • TxMET provides a network of other cities hosting meetings in order to increase group sales.
  • TxMET offers the ability to target meeting sizes and need times for your city.
  • TxMET has a NEW platform design that is user friendly and has the capability of saving and exporting reports.
