Kim McAuliffe

Kim is the Downtown Development Manager for the City of Georgetown. In her role, she is responsible for the economic development efforts in the Downtown Overlay District. Kim’s experience includes developing a new Downtown & Tourism program for the City of Hutto and leading the revitalization of the Downtown Square for the Huntsville Main Street Program. Kim serves on the Texas Downtown Association Board of Directors and chairs the Education and Outreach Committee.

Kim holds a bachelor’s in Business Administration from Sam Houston State University and is currently pursuing her Masters of Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Previously, Kim was the Downtown & Tourism Manager in Hutto where she worked on revitalization and promotion of the historic downtown through a variety of marketing, advertising, and outreach methods. In her time in Hutto, she developed a regional partnership with communities “East of Austin” leading her towards the development of an “East of Austin Film Trail”. The project is designed as a way to highlight unique assets in the region to help a community and surrounding communities leverage and market the film industry to tourists.
