The Cleburne DMP will be held on Thursday, June 1 at the Cleburne Conference Center and is hosted by Cleburne Chamber of Commerce / Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The upcoming Destination Marketing Principles Seminar will feature two engaging afternoon sessions in addition to the Destination Marketing Principles portion. The first session will highlight the relationship and partnership between a DMO and an economic development corporation (EDC). This session features Marla Roe, Executive Director of Visit Frisco and Dave Quinn, Vice President of the Frisco EDC. The second afternoon topic is presented by Sheila Scarborough with Tourism Currents who will cover online reputation management for tourism-related businesses and organizations.

Destination Marketing Principles is designed especially for local and regional DMO staff, hotel and attractions partners, elected officials, board members, and volunteers and advocates. The seminar offers a full day of information that is beneficial to anyone involved in promoting a destination to visitors.

All Aboard! Join us for a day on the Chisholm Trail in Cleburne, TX on Wednesday May 31 for a tour of Cleburne from 3:30 – 6 pm.  The tour includes the Depot at Cleburne Station, the Layland Museum & Cleburne Railroad Museum, the Gone with the Wind Remembered Museum, and the Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum & Big Bear Native American Museum. Following the tour, we'll attend a Cleburne Railroaders baseball game! This tour is offered for an additional $30. A total of 14 credits are available towards your TDM certification by completing this seminar and the tour.
