Conroe Convention & Visitors Bureau

Sherry Chaney Morgan will be leaving the Conroe CVB and taking the lead as Executive Director of the Nacogdoches CVB at the end of December. Good luck, Sherry!


Nacogdoches Convention & Visitors Bureau 

Sherry Chaney Morgan has been named the new Executive Director for the Nacogdoches CVB. Sherry joins Nacogdoches after serving 5 years with the Conroe CVB as a Tourism Coordinator. Sherry is also the President-Elect of the Texas Forest Trail Region.


Mesquite Convention & Visitors Bureau

After 12 busy and productive years with the Mesquite CVB, Carol Abbott retired on Nov. 30, 2017. She is looking forward to moving to Canton where she will garden, spend time with her grandkids and enjoy country life! We wish her the very best!


Denton Convention & Visitors Bureau

Jen Coraluzzi-Nunez is the new Sales and Servicing Coordinator for the Denton CVB. She  attended the University of North Texas, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management & Tourism with a concentration in Culinary Art.

Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau 

Mallory Cross is the new Communications Specialist and will be handling of the CVB's communications and social media strategy. Along with developing and managing content for the Beaumont CVB's Insiders Guide, website and social platforms, Mallory oversees email marketing efforts and calendar of event management.

Christina Majdalani is the new Tourism Development Coordinator and will be focused on tourism development and programs centered around nature tourism, culinary tourism and seasonal promotions. She is is a vital part Marketing team, working to expand content marketing, communications and tourism.

Visit Plano 

Liz Navarette is the new Convention Services Coordinator and will manage all logistics, arrangements, and services for clients once they have been booked in Plano by the Visit Plano sales team. She will also assist meeting planners in coordinating events in each of Visit Plano’s targeted market segments.

Odessa Conventions & Visitors Bureau

Texas Highways Magazine

Kirsti Harms, who joined TxDOT's Travel division as art director in May 2000, resigns in December. She designed and produced TxDOT's Travel Publications, particularly the Texas State Travel Guide and Texas Highways magazine.

Texas Highways Publisher Debbie Follien retires in December. She has been with Texas Highways for nine years and publisher for 2 years.

Lois Rodriguez is the new Strategic Partnerships and Events Manager. She will create, implement and oversee programs and events with travel partners, and manage Texas Highways events and sponsorships. She also will represent the magazine at conferences and assist with the Don't Mess With Texas campaign.
